In our mountaineering basic course you learn the basics of mountaineering in the high alpine environment. We teach you how to move and to orient in glacier terrain. Furthermore we put our focus on the training of rescue techniques in case of a fall into a crevasse. The highlight is the climb to the Wildspitze, 3770 m, where we put into real life what we learnt before.
The mountaineering course in the Pitztal is the first step towards independet mountaineering in the glaciated high mountains.
