Summer in the Pitztal valley is fascinating. Only for some months the snow disappears. And that gives us the opportunity to discover the beauty of summer on alpine tours, in climbing routes or on hiking trails.
Discover the variety of the summer in the Pitztal with our exciting weekly programme.
In summer the Pitztal valley is the perfect starting point to climb the Wildspitze, 3770 m. We do not only offer the normal route, but other, interesting alternatives to the summit as well.
Remarkable parts of the mountains in the Pitztal are still covered with glacier ice. Besides the Wildspitze there are plenty of summits for beginner and intermediate alpinists. We offer mountaineering courses and share our knowledge and skills with our students.
The Kaunergrat mountain range offers some great alpine climbing tours. Ambitious climbers love the solid rock on the classic ridges. And beginners learn how to manage multi-pitch climbing in our rock climbing courses.
The Via Ferratas in the Pitztal valley offer a relatively easy access to the vertical experience. While the flying fox over the glacier streem releases your adrenalin.
Breathe deeply, pause for a moment and feel the nature with all your senses. Hiking is ideal for those who want to discover the Pitztal mountains in a gentle way. During the weekly glacier hikes we also show you the very old ice of the glaciers.
